Emotional Alchemy Course
A Calm Audio Space for Big Feelings
Emotional Alchemy is a six-part audio course created by Aoife Hughes, an ADHD coach and former teacher who supports adults with ADHD and parents of neurodivergent children.
Aoife did the heavy lifting: she designed the content, framework and teaching flow herself. Verver’s role was to hold the container – to record and finish the course in a way that felt calm, accessible and neuroaffirming for the people it was made for.
What needed to work for sensitive nervous systems

Emotional Alchemy is aimed at listeners who are often easily overwhelmed by noise, pace and clutter.
The course needed to:
- Feel gentle on the senses – no harsh intros, jump cuts or jarring music
- Leave space between ideas so people could process, pause or revisit
- Align visually with Aoife’s existing brand and sales page
- Be simple to host and use across platforms
In short, the production had to support regulation, not fight it.
How we supported the course
We focused on three main areas:
- Recording the sessions
- Guided Aoife through pre-record checks (notifications, mic placement, how to handle retakes).
- Recorded clean, long-form takes so she could stay present with the material rather than worrying about perfection.
- Sound design & editing
- Edited each of the sessions for clarity while preserving Aoife’s natural tone and pacing.
- Used soft, unobtrusive music at the opening and close of sessions to create a clear beginning and end without overwhelming listeners.
- Left intentional moments of quiet so people could absorb on the teachings.
- Visuals & delivery
- Created thumbnail artwork and supporting graphics using Aoife’s brand colours and typography, plus subtle “alchemy” and transformation motifs.
- Produced simple captioned video layouts for supporting accessibility.
- Delivered organised audio and graphic files via a shared drive, ready to plug into her course platform and sales page.
What this work made possible
With the production complete, Aoife now has:
- A polished six-part course that reflects the care in her teaching, without sensory overload.
- Cohesive visuals and audio that sit naturally alongside her website and Emotional Alchemy sales page.
- A reusable asset she can sell, reference in coaching, or build on in future programmes.
For coaches and educators working with neurodivergent clients, Emotional Alchemy shows how thoughtful production choices – gentle sound, clear structure, uncluttered visuals – can make learning feel safer and more sustainable.
If you’d like support to record and finish your own course in a way that truly matches your audience’s needs, we can help you shape the listening and viewing experience around them.
